We all took a limo in at about 11 o’clock, and by the time we got to the place-Pete’s Tavern-they had a couple tables for us, our own little section in the back. There were four from the team-all the young guys. So it was nice to go downtown and have some fun with some friends. It was my first time, really, away from home for New Year’s. For New Year’s Eve, my girlfriend, my roommate Chris, and I got together with some of my teammates and went in to San Francisco.
